Fire LEO-04 Rynex -From Thunder Force IV, V-

Originally a fighter from the Galaxy Federation, the Fire LEO-04 Rynex is the successor to the Fire LEO-03 Styx. One of these was launched to fend off the offending Vios and, despite from many of its scientists saying that deploying the still prototype Rynex being a rash decision, was able to successfully defeat the Vios. However, the Rynex was unable to escape the blast after the final battle with Khaos, who had installed itself on the memory core of the fighter.

Some time later, the remains of Rynex were discovered by the human Sekaki 3 out in the Oort Cloud of the Sol system. It was later dubbed as "Vasteel" (Vastian's Steel) by the humans who began to research it. Unable to figure out anything about it, they devised an AI program that could called the Guardian and placed it and Rynex on the artificial island Babel. The Guardian became infected by the ORN virus when it accessed the fighter's memory core and went out of control and began to destroy everything related to the Rynex. It wasn't until Cenes Crawford destroyed the Guardian did peace return to Earth.

Currently in the Galaxy Federation the Rynex is succeeded by the Fire LEO-04C Rynex-R. It provides a cheaper, but just as effective, solution to the original Rynex.

Suffice to say, this is another work of 's works that I've optimized, UV mapped, and this time I textured it as well. Major kudos go to him again. The ships in the background are Sword Fleet from my last work because I was lazy to arrange a new background.
